Haratua | Mei  | May
Welcome

It’s May already! The months have been flying by in what has been a very busy and eventful year to date.

I would like to thank everyone who provided their feedback on the proposed changes to the Teaching Council Rules 2016 last month. If you’d like, you can watch a short video where I talk about these changes and why we’re proposing them. The Teaching Council Governing Council is now reviewing all feedback before making a decision on changes to the Rules.

In addition, we recently produced a video where I answer some of your questions. Please take a look! And remember, to keep your questions coming in at feedback@teachingcouncil.nz as we’ll have more Q&A videos like this to come.

Winter is drawing closer. So as the temperature starts to dip I hope you'll stay warm and well.

Lesley Hoskin,
Tāhūhū Rangapū | Chief Executive
