Teaching Council Call Centre experiencing high volumes of queries

Kia ora,
We’d like to let you know that the Teaching Council Call Centre is experiencing particularly heavy call and email volumes at the moment as the profession returns to work, and concerns around COVID continue.
We endeavour to answer every call and email in a timely manner, however, we’re aware some people have had longer wait times than we would like for both calls and email. We have an expediated service for Professional Leaders and Centre Managers, please select option ‘9’, when you call through.
Please rest assured we’re adding more resources to the Call Centre to ensure you’re helped in a timely manner and the team is working hard to make your experience with the Teaching Council a positive one.
