This Professional Growth Cycle resource is available to you if you are a relief or part-time teacher on a Pūmau | Full (Category Two) Practising Certificate. It provides you with the relevant sections of our registration policy that explain the requirements in relation to the Professional Growth Cycle. It also includes sections from Our Code, Our Standards as well as the elements of the Professional Growth Cycle (PGC).

It is not compulsory for you to complete or use this document in any way. It has been developed in response to requests from the profession for a place for teachers to record their learning or professional growth in their relief teaching role.
We have set this up in Word format so you can use sections you find useful and easily remove what you don’t need.
