ITE Programme Approval, Monitoring and Review Requirements (2019)

This policy sets out the requirements for approval of new ITE programmes, including the evidence the Teaching Council will want to see, understand or test to be satisfied the programme will comply with each requirement.

ITE Programme Approval, Monitoring, Review, and Moderation Policy (2024)

This policy sets out the process for ITE programme approvals. It also outlines the processes used to evaluate the effectiveness of ITE programme delivery and to encourage continual improvement, including monitoring, review, moderation, and audit or special review.

ITE emergency response policy

This policy outlines a set of temporary ITE programme changes that the Teaching Council can implement immediately once a threshold for a local, regional, or national emergency has been reached. The policy allows ITE providers to apply for temporary programme changes in case of emergency.
