The Professional Practice Collection is now available through My Rawa, bringing together practical resources and tools that help teachers and leaders understand and apply the expectations of the profession with confidence.
Available through My Rawa, the Professional Practice Collection provides practical guidance, tools, and resources that support safe and quality professional practice across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Developed with New Zealand subject matter experts, the collection reflects the Teaching Council's commitment to supporting teachers and leaders through clear expectations, practical guidance, tools, and resources that strengthen professional practice, support sound professional judgement and contribute to safer learning environments.
"Supporting safe teaching is about more than responding when concerns arise. It's about providing practical guidance that helps teachers and leaders apply professional expectations with confidence in their everyday practice," says Chief Executive Sean McKinley.
The Professional Practice Collection brings together two categories with a unified purpose: to support safe and quality professional practice. Together, they help teachers and leaders apply professional expectations, strengthen professional judgement, prevent harm, and maintain trust and confidence in teaching.

Resources and tools to support safe, ethical, and trusted practice.

Resources and tools to strengthen professional capability and effective practice.
