Curriculum, Progress and Achievement survey

In June, the Minister for Education set up a Ministerial Advisory Group (and a reference group to support the MAG) to gather views from across the country that would help to inform the direction for work on Curriculum, Progress and Achievement now that National Standards are no longer part of the system and NCEA is under review. Frances Nelson is the Education Council’s representative on the Reference Group.

2043 people - including 742 educators, 892 members of the wider community and 415 students responded to the survey. Read a very short overview of the main themes from the survey here.

The Reference group appreciate the responses and also acknowledge the short time-frame  and the crowded space you were working in at the time of the survey. There will be other opportunities to feed in to this work.
